What is your favorite book and what have you learned from it?

Question

What is your favorite book and what have you learned from it?
Just out of curiosity. And I will thumbs down you if you dont give answers to both parts of the question!

Answer

My favorite book is Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. From Frankenstein, Ive learned how devastating judging based on appearances can be. In the book, the monster is hideous and is beaten away by his own creator and a family he watched and came to love, which hurt the creature so much he began to murder.brbrIf his creator Victor Frankenstein hadnt judged the creature so harshly and dubbed him a monster, then perhaps the people killed would have lived.

What is your absolute favorite novel?

What is your absolute favorite novel?

Answer

My absolute favorite book is called On the Side of the Angels by Kristen D. Randle. It is about a year old boy who grew up in a really tough family environment singlemother who is really messed up, is addicted to drugs and abusive which led to problems in school. He is known as a troublemaker and gets bad grades, even though he is smart. He realizes that if he wants to go anywhere in this world, he needs to get out of the situation he is in, so he tracks down an uncle he has never met and goes to stay with them. There, he is given the chance to start over until his past catches up with him. Its a great book and I reread it periodically.brbrOther than that, I absolutely love The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, and Night by Elie Wiesel. I like a ton of books in different genres I read almost anything, but I go through phases where I read a certain genre for a certain period of time before I move on to another, but I would have to say those are my favorites.
